WIQD is at the QuantERA Strategic Conference!

WIQD is excited to participate in the QuantERA Strategic Conference, where we will host a panel session titled Empowering Women+ in Quantum: Driving Diversity. The event will take place on September 11 from 12:00 to 13:00 at Startup Village in Amsterdam.

This panel will address the critical need for supportive infrastructure to help women and minorities thrive in quantum science and technology. Moderated by Caiseal Beardow from Delft University of Technology, the discussion will feature insights from esteemed panelists, including Elisabeth Giacobino (Sorbonne University), Servaas Kokkelmans (Eindhoven University of Technology), Judith Kreukels (NWO-I/WIQD), Zala Lenarčič (Jozef Stefan Institute), and Kirsten Stadermann (University of Twente).

Together, they will explore how universities can learn from successful ecosystem programmes to design inclusive initiatives that not only encourage participation but also provide essential support.
